Visualization In-Sights - Accessible Analogies for Real Life
What is an in-sight? I have coined this term to describe a new simplistic way of dealing with many hard-to-find-our-way-out-of challenges in life. In-sights are an inward to outward process of visualization, conjured by easy to remember stories and images, utilized for healing and moving through hurdles and darknesses. In essence, they are a “why didn’t I think of that,” “right under our noses” way to seeing ourselves through life. And it is for you to decide what works and what doesn’t
What I have found is that when we are going through tough stuff, we are most often too close to our own pain and problems to see how to get through them without help. And some of us don’t really have readily available help. Or we don’t even want it (I can be one of these amidst my hardest times; I’m a tuck-chinner, as I call it.). We get so caught up in the spiral, in the challenge, in the pain, that standard or professional methods, advice, even friendly assistance, can seem like rough sandpaper on an open wound. These in-sights, I hope, can help ease that difficulty and maybe even be a bridge, from the super hard to something offering a bit of relief and perhaps a mind-set that will help you start seeing your own road to easier (and, eventually, much more).
So, again, what is an in-sight? An in-sight is simply an easily accessible and relatable kind of visualization available “in plain sight” that helps us find the light in any darkness and helps us see what can be in sight and within reach in our lives if we are open to unburying it, seeing it, and allowing it.
