Equilibré
Changing the narrative.
That is what we are struggling to do. That is what we have been trying to do for decades, hundreds of years, even longer.
The old, antiquated, sexist male narrative. It needs changing.
We are women. We are half of the whole. We are the heart and the start of life.
And yet we have been marginalized. Somehow, we have been oppressed. Yes, that is harsh to say. Strong words, but they are true. Even up to this point, up to this day. We are still being held hostage by overt and hidden narratives that we have not been able to shake. Maybe because it is all we have ever known.
We are beautiful. We are fragile. We are to be cherished. All of these things are true.
But we are also strong. We are fierce. We are sensual. And we are sexual.
Men have always been allowed to be sexual. They can joke about it, be proud of it, take control of a sexual situation.
But for us to do it, we are stereotyped…Dominatrix. Feminist. We are socially battered for it. We are slut-shamed, admonished, hated. We are Jezebelled, dirtified, hushed up, or hung out to dry.
No more. No longer. Let us take control of this narrative. Let us be proud. Let us not feel dirty for wanting sex, wanting pleasure, wanting control, for being as strong with our bodies as we are with our minds.
With this strength in mind, I have invented something. With the old narrative, it would be considered dirty. It is overtly sexual and, in that story, it belongs in a sex toy catalog or an adult store, S&M, subversive, different, hard core.
But it is not.
And still, in even talking about it, the old-narrative thoughts run through my head: How dare I. How will I be perceived? What will people think? I am a sex fiend, a corrupter, a dirty woman. THAT is how ingrained in our psyche these notions are.
Even if I were a sex fiend, why should I be ashamed? Why are women slandered for pleasurous thoughts?
THAT is why I invented this. THAT is why this came to mind.
I want to walk (or strut) into a room and feel sexually strong, empowered. I want to ask for what I want and have an upright, non-submissive way to receive it. I want sexual pleasure on MY terms, on a woman’s terms, with no shame, no discomfort, and no embarrassment. And I want it to be beautiful, sexy, fun, wonderful, and awesome.
Introducing Equilibré, the world’s first chair engineered for the most empowering experience of female oral sexual satisfaction we have ever known.
For centuries, men have had simplicity in regard to oral sex. They sit in a chair, penis upright, pleasure giver have at it. Lucky them.
But we women have either had to lay down in a submissive position, teeter on the edge of something like a table, or sit on a face in an awkward balancing act. You know what I am talking about.
So imagine…walking into a room and then sitting down by comfortably mounting a chair with handholds, footholds, and even partner access to your breasts, all the while being bodily available for the most pleasurable oral experience of your life. How empowering would that be?! You’re upright. You’re comfortable. You’re sexy as hell in your strength. And YOU are the one looking down, just chilling. Sexual partner, HAVE AT IT!!!
Equilibré is built with female comfort in mind, with a plush faux leather tush cush and inner leg curves with padding and can be stylistically and color-customized to personal aesthetic. Currently, it is in a prototype phase, thus open to further customization and production ideas. It is meant to blend in with your regular furniture with an additional regular seat and cover (also lending itself to switching positions in lovemaking). So climb aboard a new wave of sexual feminism, a tool for strength and a no brainer for comfort and pleasure.
I recently read an article about a woman who finally redesigned a speculum. The article reflected on how many years it has taken to redesign the uncomfortable cold metal torture device that sees itself in every female body at least once a year. WHY HAS IT TAKEN SO LONG TO REDESIGN A BETTER FIT OR METHOD? The author reflects that if it were a male device, it would already be a telekinetic process administered with beer on the side.
In passionate reply, here is my attempt at contributing to breaking the antiquated female box we have been expected to live in all our lives. Let us be free and take control of our own sexual narrative, a powerful place to start.
